Rooftop Series (2)

Labor Day was spent...working in the office. Or more like, lounging, since there weren't any work to do at all. I managed to clean up my workspace - threw piles and piles of unnecessary (I hope and pray! Or else, I'm dead!) papers, replenished my office supplies (not that I would be needing a lot in a month), and rearranged things on my desktop including my computer.

Holiday in the Office Outfit: F21 dress, thrifted pink braided belt, Schu wedges

It wasn't so bad. I actually volunteered since neither going home nor planning a trip in the middle of a work-week would sound like a good idea. Besides, holidays are the only days I could really enjoy a hassle-free Manila.

Apparently, I'm plainly rattling on in these recent posts. I just needed to publish these drafts already to make room for more noteworthy and less gibberish blogs! I miss writing.

Caped

It was one of those days when I felt lighter than usual waking up. I put on my trusted body-hugging little black dress. But then, I wasn't sure how my day would go about. I might end up pigging out or my morning coffee might spoil the moment and bloat me up.

H&M LBD, thrifted green cape, Cole Vintage leopard print belt, Topshop gold flats, Charles&Keith black bag, Accessorize gold necklace

And so, just to play safe, I pulled out something I could use as a cover-up. In this case, it was about time for my stylish olive green cape to breathe some fresh air.

I think it did some great tricks there, yes?

Rooftop Series (1)

thrifted sheer top, Zara pants, Zara brown shoes, Parfois necklace

Quite a lot of things have been happening to me lately. Some are good news, like how my relationships with the people I love are getting all the much better. Some are, well, the usual bad stuff, work clamor and all that. True enough, you can't really have it all.
